Tunda Island, is a small island located in the Java Sea, in the northern Gulf of Banten. (http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulau_Tunda).
From Jakarta, we heading to Merak by bus and stop at Terminal Pakupatan. Then we rent a car to Karangantu. From Karangantu, we ride a boat to the Port of Tunda Island.
I don't advise you to sail at night, In addition to large waves, many ships here dosen't have license to sail. So it's hard to found the ships at night and you may get a trouble from police.

The saddest thing we found at Tunda Island is sand miners. They cause damage to nature, especially on coral reefs. Coral reefs at Tunda Island should be a very interesting attractions and capable of being economic sectors for them. With all due respect, people at Tunda Island is really need education in order to maintain their natural wealth.

So what is the best thing I found at Tunda Island. Yes, of course snorkeling and fishing. Almost 70% of the island is surrounded by coral reefs, we found a lot of nemo. And for those of you who like fishing, this place is one of the favorite fishing spot.
