Pari Island, is one of the best island in Kepulauan Seribu. I’d seen this place growing. From nothing to something. Offering a comfortable spot for quality family time or even just doing good hot lazy weekend with sunbathing, beach volley, snorkeling and fishing.
Take a boat from Marina Jaya Ancol beach or from Muara Angke boat port and heading to pari Island. And it’s possible to leave your car at the port. Find a homestay, they have different type and class for rent. Take your family to fun bicycle island tour. That’s a good thing to do, healthy, explore and find something interesting out there. The village, the beach and how life going on there.
I don’t suggest you to bring your own bicycle, this place isn't for downhill and it not possible to bring a bicycle in the public boat unless you rent a private boat. But don’t worry, they have bicycle for rent there.
Take a walk for 10 minutes to the sand of virgin beach. It’s easy to find. You can feel free to play volley, enjoying coconuts with ice at the hammock, take a cano tour at the mangrove forests or swimming.
But just to let you know that the sand of virgin beach has a long shallow beach with sand and mangrove. But it’s fun to soaking and enjoying the sun.
The sand of virgin beach also the main place for people who want to use tent. We can camping at the beach but remember please keep clean. I found a group of nature activist at there. They are very kind people.
Sunset and sunrise is the precious moment to enjoy, take a picture or just for relaxed. I suggest you to go to the Mount of Sun Dock. Just take a walk about 35 minutes straight in the backside of the sand of virgin beach.
Some people maybe disagree about this choice but I’m sorry that is my favorite spot for hunt the sunset and also sunrise.
Go back to the sand of virgin beach, get some seafood barbecue party, and if you are luck you will find party or live music sometimes. What a life isn’t it?
Don’t forget snorkel and dive, there are some interesting place to explore.
